I have been weaving hard for over a week to finish the requirement for the MA Show installation. I also put enough on the warp to weave a wrap to wear during the Private View and the invigilation sessions. And it is all done, and what a relief!
I picked up the metal ceiling installation a couple of weeks ago and I am delighted with it. In the next few weeks I shall be spray painting it to bring the colour into line with the colour palette I used for the panels. It is all getting quite exciting.
I have research to get on with, and the essay of course, but feel content with the time I have left before hand-in to make a reasonable job of it all. Monday I shall be washing and tentering the two panels as I have a tutorial on Wednesday. I shall upload a photo for those who are interested when they are ready.

I have been sampling a few of my 'maze' inspired structures using a graduated colours warp, which is in keeping with the uneven colours of weathered metal. I have decided to have an installation of six panels for the final MAde Show. I have various combinations of structures for this, and am undecided yet which way to go with them. I want all the elements to be in place by Easter so that I have plenty of time for the weaving as well as the other tasks I will be undertaking in the final project.
